Jodi Phillips


 

Jodi was born in Summerside and graduated from Three Oaks Senior High School. She has a Bachelor of Social Work degree from Dalhousie University as well as a BA in sociology, and a two year Criminology Certificate Program diploma, both from St. Mary’s University. Jodi is also a graduate of the School of Conflict Resolution from UPEI and has a Child and Youth Care Worker diploma from Holland College.

Jodi has been working for MCPEI with the PRIDE Program since October of 2007.  Previous to working at MCPEI, Jodi had fifteen years experience working in the social service field.  She has worked in the Youth Justice system in both open and closed custody, with Addiction Services and Disability Supports, employment services, in group homes and a one on one support worker  with Child and Family Services and as a youth worker in the PEI school system.   

Jodi is a Registered Social Worker and a member of the Social Work Association of PEI. Her long term goal is to continue working for PEI’s First Nation communities and to obtain her Masters Degree in Social Work.
