Jolyssa Kilbride

 All through elementary Jolyssa played sports whether it was on a school team or lunchtime intramurals she would try all different sports she was able to, joining track and field, cross country, softball, basketball, volleyball, rugby, synchronized skating, figure skating for two years and hockey. She also drummed with the Lone Wolf Singers and would dance in her regalia at the Pow wows held all over the Maritimes. 

Jolyssa played volleyball at her school for the last few years and she has played hockey for the last four last years. Her volleyball team won the provincials last year!! Her new love is rugby and they started to play last spring.  If she had more time she would try out for many more different teams like volleyball last spring, but the tryouts for that was at the same time as her exams last year and school is also very important to her.

Jolyssa has made her mother proud with energy and enthusiasm she puts into her sports teams and also what she does in her spare time to stay active at home and her community.  Jolyssa has the heart of a champion and will go far in whatever she chooses to do in the future.  This month she is our champion and our Sports Star of the Month! Congratulations Jolyssa, we are all very proud of what you have accomplished!
